Service Description

**To register DD personnel MUST be an employee of a DD Provider Agency or an Active Certified Independent Provider** MEDICATION CERT 1 IS REQUIRED TO TAKE CERT. 3 Course Description; Provide DODD personnel the information on the pathophysiology of diabetes mellitus, correct and safe practices, procedures, and techniques for administering subcutaneous insulin, signs and symptoms of subcutaneous injection complication, safe handling and disposal of sharps, documentation required with insulin administration, insulin storage and the requirements for nurse delegation for subcutaneous insulin injections.
